This complete model allows to measure the indoor air quality. Thanks to its design, it can be easily placed in a personal (home) or professional (office, warehouse...) environment.
The Quaelis 40 measures and displays continuously the values of the main indoor air pollutants:
- Formaldehyde (from 0 to 3.00 mg/M3). Technology: electrochemical sensor.
- Benzene (from 0 to 3.00 mg/M3). Technology: semi conductive sensor.
- VOC (from 0 to 5.00 mg/M3). Technology: semi conductive sensor.
- Fine particles PM2.5 and PM10. Technology: laser sensor.
VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds): These compounds include a multitude of pollutants (benzene, formaldehyde, etc.) which may be of natural (vegetation) or human (glue, cleaning products) origin. This can lead to fatigue, breathing difficulties, eczema, headaches...
FINE PARTICLES: Fine particles are solid and liquid atmospheric components of natural origin (dust, mites, pollen, moulds) or human origin (heating methods, means of transport, cigarette smoke, etc.) which cause respiratory discomfort, nasal and bronchial irritation, etc. They are generally referred to as PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10. They constitute a vector which accelerates the propagation of viral infections of the coronavirus type.
Formaldehyde: It is the main pollutant of the indoor air because it is strongly present in the various materials.
Benzene: Colourless and volatile liquid, mainly used in industry.
The Quaelis 40 meter has an LCD screen (4.2 x 5.8 cm) with white digits and colour codes on a black background for a perfect contrast which ensures a good readability.
The colour code is adapted according to the measurement range, allowing instant reading and easy reference for actions to be taken in case of pollution.
The measurement ranges are customized and adapted to the recommendations of the competent authorities (WHO...).

capteurs CO2, COV et PM 2,5 ok. par contre le capteur équivalent benzène C6H6 ne descend pas au dessous de 0,010 mg/m3 à l'extérieur,(tous les autres capteurs étant dans le vert) alors que la limite acceptable est de 0,002 mg/m3. ce capteur pose plus d'interrogations qu'il n'apporte d'aide pour améliorer l'air ambiant.

Excellent produit, très bien fini. Le capteur équivalent Benzène est assez difficile à exploiter (car basé sur une extrapolation de mesure). Mais les valeurs annoncées sont cohérentes et permettent de réellement déclencher des actions (ventilation manuelle, recherche de la source polluante...)
